OPERATIVE WORKSHOPS CONDUCTED GSR INSTITUTE OF FACIAL SURGERY, HYDERABAD

Conducted operative workshop and lectures on “Transport distraction” and cleft lip rhinoplasty at GSR Institute of Facial Surgery, Hyderabad on March 24, 2011.

Conducted live operation of a patient with Operated Adamantinoma segmental mandibular defect. Treated by use of the mandibular stabilization and transport distraction device with trifocal mandibular distraction.

Operated second patient with secondary cleft lip rhinoplasty for maxillary augmentation with iliac bone graft with external open rhinoplasty.

COMMUNITY SERVICE

Involved in charity surgery of children born with cleft lip and palate. The surgery is conducted under the aegis of “Impact India Foundation” on board a train in remote areas. Participated and conducted surgery at such a camp at Rudrapur from October 6-10, 2007.

Organised a plastic surgery camp at Sheroes Hangout Café on 15 July 2025. Faculty from the department provided free consultation to the acid attack survivors.

GUEST LECTURE / INVITEE

  1. Invited for guest lecture on “Trends in Management of Maxillofacial Injuries” at the Command Hospital (Central Command) Lucknow in THE MILLENIAL UPDATE on September 23-24, 2000.
  1. Invited to attend and participate in the Government of India’s scheme entitled “New Millennium Indian technology leadership initiative (NMITLI) by the Director General Council of Science and Industrial Research, New Delhi.

This is a far-sighted programme that seeks to attain for the Indian economy a global leadership position, in a few selected niche areas, based over mastery of technology. The programme is a true “Team India” effort involving both public institutions and private sector participants.
