key highlights of the department
The department of Pediatric CVTS was created, along with 4 other departments, by the Governing Body in 2023 to strengthen the management of children born with congenital heart disease and to create a world class center for this purpose in collaboration with Saloni Heart Foundation USA and Stanford University Children Heart Hospital Stanford, USA.
The center has started with 30 Bed wars, 6 Bed ICU and one dedicated operating room within the existing CVTS department.
New faculty has been approved and expected to join soon.
The department is running 2 year PDF course (Post MCh CVTS) and will start MCH Pediatric CVTS (03 years course)
